Finding Strength and Support through Adaptive Cycling
Hello
I was diagnosed with MS in February 2014. My symptoms typically affect one side of my body like it is split in half.. an eerie feeling itself! I also deal with double vision, difficulty with urination and bowel control, balance, and difficulties with my limbs. I am unable to walk and rely on a wheelchair. The worst symptom I deal with is constant fatigue. It can feel like I was hit by a truck!
Being able to participate in the MS Bright Spots Colorado Cycling Adventure in 2022, I was able to experience a life free of judgment and make new friends that support and understand me! Training for 5 months by MS Bright Spots and DASA at Creve Coeur lake empowered me with strength for this program. Having these opportunities through MS Bright Spots of Hope are priceless to my continued endurance and courage in this fight!
March is MS Awareness Month. Please consider helping me by growing awareness of this disease and these opportunities through a donation to MS Bright Spots of Hope. For more information about their amazing programs go to www.msbrightspotsofhope.org!
Many Thanks,
Bunny
